So, what do the working class think?  Nil?  Oh, I'm forgetting, it's all middle class now.
It's not good enough to aspire to a fair go for all, forget about equity and renewal of the education system and other worthwhile energetic measures from a government. Never take the good with the bad.  Cut some slack in return for measures that are in your interests if you hadn't noticed.
Murdock press and others have got what they wanted.  The downfall of a leader.  The irony is that Labor may still prevail under the  hyperactive blond.

Another one for a Jeffery Smart artist.
The vital innovative carbon tax has been established by the Labor government. The liberal party intend to revoke it.  They are so last century.  Cowards.  We have received compensation for any sudden price rises as a result of the tax.

President Obama is onto the problem of carbon, is saying the right things.  A carbon tax is the go.
Anyway, one way or another, we have to pay for pollution, surely thats the very point of these measures to reduce carbon emissions and prevent climate change.

What would Jeffrey Smart make of this?  Spot on focus for a start.
Storm chaser.  How the east coast low failed to eventuate in full force.
Has the rain affected those naughty copper phone wires?  My high speed broadband just fell to 1bps for a while.  The upload line skips along then receeds then its forward again.  The NBN and fibre optics should be light years ahead of Mr Turnbull's copper wire revision.
On the other hand, for all its wonders, the internet creates hugh problems all round.
It failed to avert several massive global issues.
Captures obsessive victims into constant viewing and heartache and suicide at its worse.
Cost heaps. Adds hugh costs to our banking and credit use due to user fraud and hacking. Productivity in the workplace must have the gains halved by personal usage.
Keeps us under servallience.
Now frontline workers behind the desk and everyone else stare at a screen while attending to their clients
Worse of all, the holday maker might be forced to cancel those nights in a rustic farmhouse in France because of no wi fi.
We would not be without it!

Surely loads of personality is the key in life. Well, not according to Hugh.

However, are we voting for PERSONALITY alone in the next election?  Is that all there is?
No...yes..it's no presidential campaign - this is Ausstraila 'yer know.  What if voting was for a political party and the policies.  The leader is not a given. 'Yer know. Yet leadership is the beat up 'yer know.
Constant debate over leadership might backfire and be put to good use. Is it important winning publicity?

Seeking co-operation with Indonesia.  That's what our leaders look for when it comes to an approach to refugees and 'boat people' coming from there to Australia in terrible perilous conditions.
Is it asking a lot to get co-operation? Who knows what our northern neighbours are capable of doing?  For instance, does the Indonesian government play any role in regulating land clearing and burning, any role in limiting habitat destruction and the protection of plants and animals or in limiting monoculture dependent on wholesale clearing of tropical jungle.  Who knows?
The smoke haze that spreads to choke Singapore gives their actions away in burning up the island of Sumatera. And crime and religious intolerance unregulated and a unique system of 'justice' are some matters that reach our news. All the matters we have difficulty with as well.  Well, our leaders can try negotiations on refugees, that'd be high on Indonesian priorities (not).  Good luck Prime Minister Gillard!
As well as this one-eyed rant the photo shows a few grooves in the stone made by mooring lines.

If we found this planet in a si fi feature if would be an absolute knockout. Endless blue. White. Clear. Outstanding solar lighting. Warm.  Calm. Silent.  Well, the silence was broken while we were 'straffed' by military choppers on exercises.  Could be the Port needs defences now, the port has been leased out to private enterprise in return for basic amenities for the city and we are supposed to be overjoyed.  And we are intent on changing the balance in this amazing planet by output of polluting carbon dioxide.

A neighbourhood centre was having a family fun day.

Environmentalist on wheels.

''Games' have been exposed in the Australian army.
Thank you Australian mothers and fathers for bringing up sexists, weird, domestically challenged men unable to pitch in or take the good with the bad, forever boys and boy's games as their priority, raised with no expectation of taking close responsibility for family, hands-on child care and household tasks.
Waited upon. Thanks for never challenging your boy's sick attitudes towards women, gays and other nationalities. For indiscriminate mindless love of violent sport and media, violent entertainment and violent driving.
That is to the extent we as parents are responsible.

Would these make it into Vogue September edition or is it about rugging up this autumn or is it the vintage jump suit, it's hard to tell the difference.

MONA gallery in Hobart.  I think this is the roof.
Outdoors, the estate is vineyard covered and is in production so its art and wine and the whole little peninsular on the Derwent River is making its mark. Warm winter events are planned there in TasMANIA.
Local interests can be made the most of as the falling dollar just takes the shine off the travel bug.

Over the foot bridge to the coast to Korogoro Walking Track to 'circumnavigate' Hat Head(land) to the north or to a much longer path south along the coastal fringe of the national park.
The edge of the continental shelf is relatively no distance away at this point they say.
Suppose that hunting with guns could become a possibility even in this benign setting. What luck.

Just outside Hat Head where hibernation was setting in until next holiday that brings campers and caravaners.  The action of the tidal river is something to behold but I missed out seeing that. Mid north coast NSW.
