The town of Parkes has had an Elvis Festival and the Countrylink Elvis Express was caught leaving Sydney with Elivs look-alikes and entertainment on wheels.The town's alter ego is the Parke's radiotelescope which watches deep space and not forgetting its role in the moon landing according to that quaint movie The Dish.

Not sure why people feel the need to dress up as Elvis but he certainly has a pull on the imagination of some people.
I saw this on telly. Imagine walking through Newy in that outfit? =S If that's what floats ya boat I guess!
