We give thanks for a cooler, pleasant day.

The emperor's new clothes is a traditional story and we could take a look at it again.
Superficially, nothing big has changed in our society to combat climate change.
Our lifestyle is unaffected.  No one can complain about threats to their comfort - there are none.
Debate and noise about the pros and cons of global warming is done for some reason or other.
The tension between personal action and structural change is observed.  Every small act of sustainability and conservation is commended but are these a 'drop in the ocean'?
It takes much more than that to reduce our plunder. We must start at the top.
