Yes but no but....The advertisment for blue tongue beer carries another contradictory sign! Seen at the football stadium.
CDPhoto bloggers have reworked the 'no' theme and are seen on the following link - if there is not too much web traffic.

What a keen visual observation! Two things got me hooked to this picture: that blue tongue lizzard (I don't suppose it can be found anywhere else but Australia), and that contradicting sign!
Wonder, why would an advertiser put that billboard there if they could not sell there? ^_^
I bet there are a lot of empty cans at the bottom of the hill.
This is an excellent response to the theme. What a contradictory sign. I bet the advertisers were not happy! I do not know this brand of beer - is it a Newcastle boutique brew?
Is "Dry Hill" actually the name of the stadium or is it only "dry" due to the ban on alcohol?
Nicely spotted! Talk about mixed messages :) Happy Theme Day
Very confusing sign and yes well spotted.
Thank you for the answer to my question about theme of the month, Julie; also for commenting on my posting. I've added you to my blogroll. Thanks again.
Julia, outstanding eye for irony! I love the graphic in the beer logo and the expression "dry hill." I haven't heard the expression "dry" used that way in ages. Very fun post!

Hi ,
The bees are back in Brookville, Ohio. I hope for the rest of the year at least. I even got one on my Better Blog Writing post today. LOL
I see you found an adorable No sign for our July Theme Day.
Isn't it almost funny to think of adult people scurrying around their communities taking pictures of signs. And if somebody had asked what that is all about and you said a sign with "no" on it, they might... well. It is kind of funny.

That's fabulous! And it is rather confusing, isn't it? I suppose someone was trying to be wry?
Happy Theme Day!
