Not many of these signs remain on the railway stations and this set is at Newcastle station which is on the end of a branch line, the closure of which is under debate.

I've never seen such, but it seems to me a good idea to provide as much info as possible for travelers...why have they done away with them?
I miss the old railway timetables.
