Blooming this month.
The southern most corners of the garden are getting direct sunlight as Summer moves along.
Parts of the garden that are usually shaded are 'burned' in January.

Mauve on mauve. LAGERSTROEMIA. Crepe Myrtle is growing along the streets of the suburb of Waratah. The variety was originally from India and S E Asia.







Is this ROBINIA?

  2. Thanks. I don't usually do flowers as such unless they are a local species or have some claim to fame as I don't attempt special study portraits but am glad these were liked as is.

  3. It is a common tree in south Florida. And the name is: Golden Shower Tree, Cassia fistula a.k.a. Yellow Shower, Indian Laburnum
