BREAKFAST WITH THE BIRDS

Hunter Wetland Centre has breakfast for the birds each morning at the swim-up bar. Yes, there, a continental breakfast and a health spa is/are included. Magpie-geese,teal, swans and others swim around the freshwater lagoons and marshes in lush surroundings.
Humans can enjoy a picnic or have a coffee, hike or canoe and study at this Ramsar Wetland.
Birds have their global escapes and fly 10-15000 ks to the Artic Circle - to Siberia, to Alaska etc. via China, Japan, Russia.
And here is one habitat awaiting their return.
The evocative story The Happy Prince by Oscar Wilde touches on this theme.

The Breakfast theme in the following sites will be served with delight and surprise .

  5. How fun ... I saw some people picnicking a few days ago. The ducks were approaching them from three directions. The husband was shooing them away as quickly as he could. The wife was freaking out, collecting the food, and backing up as quickly as she could ... I had a good laugh but I'm not sure the she did.

  12. Come to think of it, I supply hundreds of breakfasts here to squirrels and birds of all kinds and feathers. Your beautiful post today just reminded me that I could have done that instead of bacon and eggs.
